The lion leaned closer, sniffing the boy. Suddenly, it bared its teeth and roared so loudly that panicked screams erupted all around. Everyone feared the worst.
The boy sobbed in terror, huddled in a ball, his tiny body trembling as tears streamed down his cheeks. The crowd held its breath.
The frantic child cried, curling into himself in the corner of the enclosure. His small frame shook with fear, tears staining his face.
The lion growled softly, raising its head to study the boy.
But instead of attacking as expected, it gently approached him, licking and nuzzling himjust as a lion would comfort its own cub in distress.
Gradually, the boy calmed down. He hesitantly placed a trembling hand on the lions muzzle, and the creature accepted the touch with quiet patience. Its response was tender, despite the danger.
Finally, the lion moved to the far side of the enclosure, clearing space for zoo staff to carefully approach and safely rescue the child.
