Hey, so Ive got a little story to share it was actually told to me by a mate of mine. His wife, Ethel, just welcomed a baby boy a few weeks back. The little ones only six months old. Jack, her husband, works as a delivery driver and usually gets home around six in the evening. But that particular day his van broke down, so he had to hand it over to a garage in Manchester.
Jack spotted the problem straight away. The mechanics found the fault, but they didnt have the new part in stock, so they told him it would be ready by the afternoon the next day. His boss gave him the green light to head home early, which put Jack in a great mood. He decided to surprise Ethel, so he didnt ring her or mention that hed be back sooner than usual.
He slipped the key into the lock, eased the door open and tiptoed in, trying hard not to make a sound because the baby was still asleep. After a halfday of crawling around under the vans bonnet, Jack was anything but fresh, so he headed straight for the shower. He washed up, but didnt bother putting on anything not even a towel and made his way to the bedroom where Ethel and the little one were sleeping.
Meanwhile, Ethel had decided to pop over to the doctors and asked her mum, Maggie, to look after the baby. Maggie and her husband, Harold, arrived a bit later, settling down to admire their grandson fast asleep. Just then, Jack walked in, completely naked! The room fell dead silent; it was a proper awkward moment. Jack froze, glanced at Ethels parents, and they stared back at him.
Morning, he managed, hastily covering himself with his hand.

Jack stood there for a heartbeat, then finally pulled on a shirt and bolted off to the corner shop. Ten minutes later they were all gathered in the living room, each with a glass of whisky in hand, the tension easing a bit.
Jack turned to Ethels parents and said, Id really like this little mixup to stay just between us.
Maggie asked, Whats that about?
Harold chipped in, Your wife didnt notice a thing.
Jack nodded, Im really grateful, thanks a lot.
