“I Don’t Want to Be a Mum! I Just Want to Leave Home!” – My Daughter Told Me My daughter became pregnant at 15 and hid it from us for months. We only found out when she was five months along and, of course, abortion wasn’t an option for us. We never learned who the baby’s father was; she only saw him for a few months and wasn’t even sure of his age—maybe 17, 18, or even 19. My husband and I were shocked and knew these times would be incredibly hard for us all, especially as our daughter insisted she wanted to be a mum but had no real idea what that meant. Four months later, she gave birth to a healthy, strong boy, although her labour was very difficult and her recovery took another four months. I had to leave my job to care for both my daughter and my grandson, as she wouldn’t, or couldn’t, manage on her own. When she finally regained her strength, she showed no interest in the baby—I was the one looking after him by day and night, asking and pleading for her help, sometimes shouting in frustration. One day she blurted: “I see how much you love him. Just adopt him then! I’ll be his sister. I don’t want to be a mum—I want to go out with friends and have fun. I want to party!” At first, I thought she was suffering from postnatal depression, but it turns out she simply didn’t love her child. My husband and I decided to take legal custody of our grandson. Meanwhile, our daughter became completely unmanageable, not listening to us at all, staying out at night, and taking no interest in her son. This went on for years and we thought nothing would ever change. Our grandson grew into a lovely, clever little boy. And then, suddenly, everything shifted. He got taller, learned to walk and talk, and was always cheerful. He would rush to my daughter whenever she came home, hugging her and telling her about his day. Somehow, her heart melted. She became an amazing mum, spending all her free time with him, showering him with affection, telling us all the time, “I’m so lucky to have my son—he’s the most precious thing in my life! I’ll never give him up!” My husband and I are overjoyed that peace and happiness have finally returned to our family.

I’ve Read Countless Stories of Women Who’ve Cheated, and While I Try Not to Judge, There’s One Thing I Genuinely Can’t Understand – Not Because I’m Better Than Anyone, But Because I’ve Never Been Tempted to be Unfaithful Myself. I’m 34, Married, and Live a Completely Normal Life. I Go to the Gym Five Times a Week, Watch What I Eat, and Take Pride in Looking After Myself. I Have Long, Straight Hair, I Like to Look Good, and I Know I’m Attractive – People Tell Me So and I See It in the Way Men Look at Me. At the Gym, It’s Not Unusual for Men to Try and Chat Me Up. Some Ask About Exercises, Some Hide Comments as Compliments, and Others Are Just Direct. The Same Thing Happens When I’m Out With My Friends for a Drink – Men Approach, Insist, and Ask If I’m Alone. I Never Pretend This Doesn’t Happen – On the Contrary, I Notice It. But I’ve Never Crossed the Line. Not Because I’m Scared, But Because I Simply Don’t Want To. My Husband’s a Cardiologist and Works Long Hours. Some Days He Leaves Before Sunrise and Comes Home Long After We’ve Had Dinner – Sometimes Even Later. Most of the Time, I’m at Home on My Own All Day. We Have a Daughter, I Take Care of Her, Our Home, and My Own Routine. I Could Honestly Say I Have All the “Opportunity” to Do Whatever I Want Without Anyone Knowing. Yet, It’s Never Crossed My Mind to Use That Time to Cheat. When I’m Alone, I Keep My Mind Busy – Working Out, Reading, Tidying, Watching TV, Cooking, or Going for a Walk. I Don’t Sit Around Thinking About What’s Missing or Craving Outside Validation. I’m Not Saying My Marriage Is Perfect – It Isn’t. We Argue, We’re Different, We Get Tired. But One Thing Always Remains: My Honesty. I Don’t Live With Constant Suspicion, Either. I Trust My Husband. I Know Him Well – His Routine, His Thinking, His Character. I Don’t Spend My Time Checking His Phone or Inventing Scenarios. That Sense of Calm Matters Too. When You’re Not Looking for an Escape, You Don’t Need Open Doors All the Time. That’s Why When I Read Stories of Infidelity – Not With Judgement, But with Genuine Puzzlement – I Think Not Everything Is About Temptation, Beauty, Free Time, or the Attention of Others. For Me, It’s Simply Never Been an Option. Not Because I Can’t, But Because I Don’t Want to Be That Kind of Person – And With That, I’m at Peace. What Are Your Thoughts on This?
Ive come across countless tales of women who have been unfaithful, and while I do my best not to judge
