Well, My Mom Believed Me After All.

Well, my mum actually believed me.
This happened to me last Easter. It was nighttime, around eight o’clock, right on Maundy Thursday. I was walking down a street with only one lamp still lit. Everything else was pitch black. In the distance, I saw a large shadow. It wasn’t a person. You could tell it wasn’t walking—it just got closer… silently, without changing shape.

The further I went, the nearer it felt. Then, in the blink of an eye, it vanished. Just like that, into thin air. I froze, completely baffled by what I’d just witnessed. And the worst part? Just a block away, there’s a cemetery.

Ever since, whenever I walk down that street, I avoid looking too far ahead. Just in case it comes back.

Some things are better left unseen—a reminder that not every mystery needs solving.
