Lost Youth: 40 Years, No Family, No Children, and a Heart in Ruins

Lost Youth: 40 Years Old, No Family, No Children, and a Broken Heart

I’ve realized the huge mistake I’ve made.
I’m writing this letter not to seek anyone’s pity. I just want to release everything that’s been suffocating me inside.

And also, to speak to those women who believe in the sweet words of married men and think their story will be different.

I know how it all ends.

If only I could turn back time…

I would do everything differently.

First Mistake: Michael
In my youth, I was stunning.

Tall, slender, with delicate features, I was unmatched.

I could have chosen anyone, yet I chose Michael.

A married man.

Fifteen years my senior.

Experienced, charismatic, successful.

Our affair lasted five years.

Five years of lies, waiting, and tears.

“I’ll leave my wife soon.”

“I don’t love her anymore, but I don’t want to hurt the children.”

“I only want to wake up beside you.”

I believed, I waited, I endured.

And one day, he simply said it was over.

“You deserve better.”

“I can’t give you a future.”

I wept, begged him to stay, ready to forgive everything, but his decision was final.

It took me two years to piece myself back together.

Second Mistake: Roman
He was always there.

Young, caring, kind.

He courted me, brought flowers, called, asked if I’d eaten, if I was dressed warmly.

I thought it was fate.

Four months later we moved in together, and I believed he was the one.

I wanted a family, children.

But he wanted “to live for himself a bit longer.”

For three years, I waited for him to settle down, to propose, to realize I was his destiny.

But then one day, I came home early…

Another woman was in OUR bed.

I slammed the door and left.

I didn’t hear a single apology.

I just packed up and vanished.

We never saw each other again.

Third Mistake: The Honest Married Man
I moved to another city.

And there I met him.

Young, vibrant, charismatic.

But married.

We both felt the pull.

We met “accidentally,” had coffee…

Then couldn’t stop.

But he was honest right away:

“I’ll never leave my wife.”

“I love her and you.”

I accepted it.

His love was enough for me.

For two years and six months, I lived on this tiny bit of happiness.

Until one day, he said:

“I’m moving to Canada with my family.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Goodbye.”

I cried again.

I lost love once more.

But this time, I simply accepted it as fate.

Conclusion: 40 Years Old – No Family, No Children
I’m forty.

I have no family.

I have no children.

I have only memories and emptiness inside.

I spent my best years with men who never chose me.

And I allowed it to happen.

A Message to Those Who “Love a Married Man” Now
Don’t do it.

Don’t lose yourself over empty promises.

Don’t give your heart to a man who can’t be entirely yours.

Run from lies before it’s too late.

Or one day, you’ll wake up at forty.

Alone.

With empty hands.

And a heart burned to ashes.
